Región de México is a premium, 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila rooted in Etzatlán, Jalisco — a brand defined by heritage, terroir, and a contemporary vision. Bringing it to Texas required more than marketing. Texas's three-tier distribution law mandates a licensed in-state distributor between any producer and retail or on-premise accounts — meaning no shelf placement, no venue pour, without the right distribution partner in place first.

Espejo Media served as the strategic connector and agency of record (in collaboration with Maroma / Renee Gudion), bridging Región de México with Lone Agave Distribution — a boutique Texas agave spirits distributor whose values of craftsmanship, authenticity, and heritage aligned perfectly with the brand. This tri-partner initiative unlocked the full Texas market: elite venues, statewide retail, and a high-profile touring sponsorship.

Project Highlights
01. Lone Agave Partnership — Unlocking Texas Distribution
Espejo Media identified, vetted, and connected Lone Agave Distribution as the licensed Texas distributor for Región de México — a critical and non-negotiable step under Texas three-tier law. Lone Agave's boutique, agave-focused portfolio and values around craftsmanship and heritage made them the ideal fit. This partnership was the foundational unlock that made every subsequent retail and on-premise placement legally and commercially possible.
02. Retail Partnerships — Spec's & Twin Liquors
With Lone Agave in place as the licensed distributor, Espejo Media helped execute strategic retail partnerships with Spec's and Twin Liquors — two of Texas's most influential spirits retailers with hundreds of combined locations statewide. These placements translated brand visibility directly into consumer access across San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas.
03. William Beckham · Las Posadas Tour Sponsorship
Espejo Media spearheaded the identification and execution of a sponsorship partnership with acclaimed Texas country artist William Beckham and his Las Posadas Tour — a culturally resonant activation that placed Región de México in front of engaged, affluent Texas audiences at live events, connecting the tequila's Mexican heritage with a shared cultural celebration.
04. Premium Venue Activation — San Antonio, Austin & Dallas
We secured and activated Región de México across marquee Texas venues: the Spurs Club at Frost Bank Center (San Antonio), The Headliner Club (Austin), and the Dallas Club (Dallas). Each placement — enabled by the Lone Agave distribution relationship — positioned the brand alongside premium spirits in elite on-premise environments, building trial among high-value consumers.
05. Brand Content & Visual Production
Working in close collaboration with Maroma, we produced photo and video assets capturing the brand's identity — rooted in Jalisco terroir, artisan craftsmanship, and contemporary premium aesthetics. These assets powered digital storytelling, venue collateral, and partner-facing materials throughout the initiative.
